What is Time Management?

Time management is the act or planning of time to utilize in very effective manner to carry out given task. The use of time management we can see from our home to office place and off course where there is operation  has been carried out based on time bound manner only. There is value of time we can assess and realise if some thing happen to success or failure just because of few seconds. Students realise the important of time when they are not able to complete the preparation of exam syllabus or not able to complete all questions in exam because of some more time taken to solve some other questions.  So, management of time is very important in our daily life and it starts from our day to day work at home to our work place.

Basically, Time management is the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or productivity.

But when it comes to the time management in preparation of IAS Exam, matters a lot. Preparation of IAS Exam and deliver to the same, is also required Time management during the entire process whether there is time for preparation or during attending the exam.

Here, i are going to present first and foremost the basic steps towards management of time and habits towards this. Later i will discuss time management specifically in respect of IAS exam preparation and during writing the IAS examination.

  •  Make a regular defined routine for each task and to study accordingly. Before picking up the study task for the day, you must be aware and well understood that what i am going to study now and entire process of study for the day or particular period of time.
  • Always to keep in mind towards your healthy mind and body. Only healthy mind and body only can helps you to study hard and effective. So, eat healthy and sleep well. Never compromise sleeping to much for study to late night.
  •  Always be positive during the entire process of study specially which will helps you to study in very effective manner.
  • Always to set and remind your goal that what you want to become in future and divide that goal to your small goals.
